Dhurandhar 2 Box Office: Closes in on Pushpa 2 After Record Third Week
Dhurandhar 2 Box Office: Ranveer Singh’s Film Closes in on Pushpa 2 After Record Third Week
Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 box office collection continues to rewrite records. Aditya Dhar’s spy thriller has wrapped up its third week in theatres with a worldwide gross of Rs 1,665.23 crore — and is now within striking distance of Pushpa 2: The Rule’s all-time global ranking.

Third Week Numbers at a Glance
According to industry tracking portal Sacnilk, the film’s cumulative worldwide haul breaks down as follows:
- India Gross: Rs 1,255 crore
- Overseas Gross: Rs 410 crore
- Worldwide Gross: Rs 1,665.23 crore
On the domestic net front, Dhurandhar 2 has collected Rs 1,048.42 crore — making it one of the few Bollywood films to cross the Rs 1,000 crore nett mark domestically. Week-by-week, the film earned Rs 674.17 crore nett in Week 1, Rs 263.65 crore nett in Week 2, and Rs 110.60 crore nett in its third week.
Closing in on Pushpa 2
Pushpa 2: The Rule currently holds the third spot on the all-time global Indian box office chart with Rs 1,742.10 crore. Dhurandhar 2 needs just Rs 76.87 crore more to surpass it — a gap that, at its current pace, is projected to close within six to eight days.
If that happens, Dhurandhar 2 would sit third globally, behind only Dangal (Rs 2,070 crore) and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (Rs 1,810 crore).
A Historic Third Week
The film has also made Bollywood history in the process. Dhurandhar 2 is now the second-highest third-week grosser in Bollywood history — beaten only by its own prequel, Dhurandhar, which had earned Rs 172 crore nett during the same period. That’s a rare feat: a sequel outdoing nearly every Bollywood film ever made at the third-week stage, while still falling just short of its own franchise benchmark.
What the Film Is About
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar 2 follows Hamza Ali Mazari, an Indian spy embedded deep within Lyari’s underworld and political structure in Pakistan, working to dismantle a terror network from the inside. Ranveer Singh leads the cast, supported by Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun.
The film’s sustained performance — holding strong through three weeks — points to genuine audience engagement rather than just opening weekend hype. With Pushpa 2’s record firmly in its sights, the next week at the box office will be closely watched.
